But I am not evangelistic, like most Exhorters who never meet strangers. I am terrible with strangers!

March 2013 brings elections to Kenya and may God usher in a new era of justice and peace. May God release the people into their destiny! We pray specifically for Bishop Titus Khamala to be elected in his district. God bless our election workers with integrity and faithfulness. May a spirit of generosity and unity fill the country as they overcome tribal differences and grow to serve one another, celebrating and embracing their diversity. This is a pivotal moment in the natural and there is such a stirring in the supernatural! May God be glorified as we seek to be His hands and feet bringing hope and encouragement to His Beloved ones. Our Garden is Growing Derrick took our children through the entire process of transplanting seedlings to the seedbed, explaining every step one by one.Wallace, Valary and Daisy join the regular team of Asman, Paul, Yvonne, Ben and Noel. One of the new TGD volunteers, Juma Lutomi, assisted as Derrick's apprentice. Paul even brought his young cousin so he could learn, too. The children transplanted the seedlings, then used twigs and leaves to protect them from the harsh sunshine before watering them. The participation was very encouraging and the children were eager to do it the entire day, although it was unrealistic. They had to go get some light late lunch and get back home for Sunday preparations. The rains seem to be subsiding, paving way to a seemingly hot and sunny  season. Regular watering has, however, seen the seedlings very successfully survive the harsh weather, up to this transplanting stage. Along with the weather changes, come new challenges; water containers. We need a 1,000 litre water container and five 20-litre containers for storing and fetching water. Just a few donations should take us there! Pray with us for provision which God has so faithfully provided. We are so grateful!! Goats and Chickens (Treasured Gifts)! It is hard to explain how this gifts have changed the face of  homes that received them. When David and I (Jack) visited Elizabeth's home, we came to realize how these homes treasure the gifts that they received. The grandma to Lydia and Elizabeth had no better way of saying thanks. When this old granny saw us, she rushed to make tea for us and welcomed us with a lot of joy. She is the one who is in charge of the gifts and she believes that these will multiply and enable her to sell and buy a cow which will be producing milk for the family. In our culture, owning goats, sheep, cows and other domestic animals is a great pride to that home. Elizabeth and Lydia narrated to us how the whole village has been asking them where they got these animals since the villagers know that they are so poor that they can't afford to buy even one. God has changed their story through precious donors. These girls told us to pass a lot of thanks to donors. They normally help their granny grazing the animals after school and their joy is seeing their granny happy and the gifts have added life in this old granny who is 70 years plus. Employment Opportunity with IEBC? What's the big news in Kenya? March 4th 2013, Kenya will hold its general elections. It will be one of its own kind ever since the inception of the nation 50 years ago. Citizens will elect six leaders in a row: The president, governor, senator, members of parliament, women representatives and the county ward representatives. In the past, we voted for the president, members of parliament, and councilor. Pray for peace over the country and our friends. This year's election transitions from the manual way to an electronic system of registration. Information technology has been embraced by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), which is the body in charge of boundaries and elections in Kenya. This change created employment opportunities for computer literate Kenyans. Out of the 380 polling clerks recruited in Lurambi Constituency, six of them are products of TGD computer community training centre. Congratulations to Derrick Ommani, Oscar Amaya, Vincent Makuba, Dorcas Ogolla, Judith Nanjala and Juma Lutomi. For ten days, our staff members work for IEBC as polling clerks earning $15 per day. They are a product of your worthy input and sponsorship. Glory to God for because of you! Trinity Global Development is turning young people's dreams into reality, building a better tomorrow for each and every one of them. Sharon and Wallace Join High School Sharon and Wallace did an excellent job on their high school entrance exams! They managed to receive calling letters from different high schools. March is going to be a busy month for them as they strive to acclimatize to a boarding high school. They are stepping into a new system of life as each endeavors to fulfill a particular dream. Wallace moves closer to his ambition as an accountant while Sharon's dream of becoming a nurse begins to look possible. Entry into high school marks the beginning of the realization of a bright future. New friends, teachers, timetable and academic content await our two sponsored children. As we thank God for bringing Wallace and Sharon this far, let's keep praying for them that the Lord will continually provide them with a sound mind, good health, finances to take care of their stay in high school and above all, a deep and abiding relationship with Him.
